‘SAMARITAN’ Starring Sylvester Stallone First Trailer Released!

The trailer for Sylvester Stallone’s new super hero movie, ‘Samaritan‘. In this flick however he is not your ordinary super hero. He is a guy who gave up being a super hero years ago and has disguised himself as a garbage man. Thirteen-year-old Sam Cleary (Javon “Wanna” Walton) suspects that his mysterious and reclusive neighbor Mr. Smith (Sylvester Stallone) is actually a legend hiding in plain sight. Twenty years ago, Granite City’s super-powered vigilante, Samaritan, was reported dead after a fiery warehouse battle with his rival, Nemesis.

Julius Avery (Overlord) directs, from a screenplay by Bragi F. Schut, previously adapted by Mythos Comics. Though Stallone appears in several comic-based movies, from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 to Judge Dredd, this marks his first time as a bona fide superhero. Samaritan debuts Aug. 26 on Prime Video.
